The ONEVIOLIN alias is Pekka Niemi, who studied at the London’s prestigious Royal College of Pekka Niemi. He in recent years become an international social media hit, whose videos have collected dozens millions of views. With them, he covers well-known songs from here as well as the rest of the world by making all the sounds, from the drums to the melody, using the violin. A single song can thus contain up to hundreds of different violin tracks. The popularity has taken him to perform in addition to domestic events, e.g. To Mexico, France and Singapore. He became one of the audience’s favourites
in Suomen Talent, up to the finale of the sixth production season in spring 2020.
ONEVIOLIN has also released a long piece called “ONE” and was featured on Uniiki’s single Karuselli. The “Christmas 2023” round is the first Christmas tour of the artist’s career.
