Klaus Härö’s new film depicts the encounter between two women in the midst of a crisis in the healthcare sector. Specialist nurse Inka (Laura Birn) carries out her work with great dedication, despite the pressure of demanding working conditions and her own family life. Leni’s (Oona Airola) and Kari’s (Jussi Vatanen) happiness is thrown into turmoil when their newborn baby is rushed to intensive care. The nurses are planning a strike for better working conditions, but amidst all the uncertainty, the distraught Leni finds support and hope from Inka. Inka, however, faces difficult decisions. Both women act out of love and a sense of duty – but how do you make the right decision when your own life and the lives of others hang in the balance?

We work continuously to make Ritz more accessible. There is a stair lift from the ground floor, where the toilet is available, to the café and auditorium on the second floor, and there is a induction loop for hearing aids in part of the auditorium. Even so it is a good idea to read up on accessibility before your visit.

Read more about accessibility, and get acquainted with the premises via the virtual tour:
