Nominated for five Oscars and winner of two Golden Globes.

In the film, which won the Cannes competition series in 2023, Sandra, Samuel and their 11-year-old son have spent a year in a remote villa in the French Alps. When Samuel is found dead in the snow in the yard of the house, the police begin to investigate whether he fell or was pushed down. During the court case, not only the circumstances of Samuel’s death are clarified, but also, and especially, the psychological probing of the conflicting relationship between Sandra and Samuel. In the thriller directed by Justine Triet, words are used like weapons, and shocking truths see the light of day. Sandra Hüller, who received praise for her role, is in the lead role, who was also seen in the film Isäni Toni Erdmann, which was shown in Finland. In addition to the Palm d’Or, the anatomy of a fall won the Palm Dog award at Cannes, when Messi was awarded for the best dog performer role.

We work continuously to make Ritz more accessible. There is a stair lift from the ground floor, where the toilet is available, to the café and auditorium on the second floor, and there is a induction loop for hearing aids in part of the auditorium. Even so it is a good idea to read up on accessibility before your visit.
