DreamWorks Animation tuo elokuvateattereihin Peter Brownin rakastettuihin lastenkirjoihin perustuvan elokuvan Villi robotti.

Eeppinen seikkailu seuraa robotti ROZZUM yksikkö 7134:ää, tuttavallisemmin Rozia. Kun robotti haaksirikkoutuu asumattomalle saarelle, täytyy hänen oppia sopeutumaan karuun ympäristöön ja luomaan suhteita saaren eläimiin. Lopulta hän ryhtyy orvon hanhenpoikasen kasvattivanhemmaksi.

Elokuva on voimakas kertomus itsensä löytämisestä. Se tutkiskelee jännittävästi myös siltaa teknologian ja luonnon välillä, sekä mitä tarkoittaa olla elossa ja yhteydessä kaikkeen elävään. Villin robotin on käsikirjoittanut ja ohjannut kolminkertainen Oscar®-ehdokas Chris Sanders, joka on käsikirjoittanut ja ohjannut myös DreamWorks Animationin Näin koulutat lohikäärmeesi, Croodit ja Disneyn Lilo & Stitch -elokuvan. Elokuvan on tuottanut Jeff Hermann (DreamWorks Animationin The Boss Baby: Perhebisnes, yhteistuottajana Kung Fu Panda -elokuvissa)

GENERAL INFORMATION

Vaasa local buses, Lifti, drive several lines past Ritz. You can find your way to us with their  route planner. 

Ritz is only 700 meters walking from Vaasa travel centre (trains and long distance buses).

Roadside parking is free after 18:00. The easiest way to find parking is in the main square underground parking Toriparkki, 400 meters walking distance from Ritz.

For far away guests there is a wide selection of hotels in Vaasa! GreenStar Hotel Vaasa offers our customers a 10% discount on the cheapest dayrate with the code: RITZ.

During Kino nights Ritz doors open circa 20 minutes before the first movie.

Tickets are sold in the café where payment by card or cash is accepted. There is no pre-sale or take bookings for film screenings. The tickets are value tickets, and are valid as such to any screening.

We currently don’t accept payments with Epassi, Smartum, Tyky, Edenred or other employee benefits.

No wardrobe service or fee during regular Kino nights.

We work continuously to make Ritz more accessible. There is a stair lift from the ground floor, where the toilet is available, to the café and auditorium on the second floor, and there is a induction loop for hearing aids in part of the auditorium. Even so it is a good idea to read up on accessibility before your visit.

Our stylish bar is also open before and between screenings. Unfortunately, alcoholic drinks can not be taken into the auditorium during regular Kino nights.
