“Tillsammans 99” is a film that aims to move and captivate cinema-goers with its humour, joy and even sadness. A comedy and a serious story about the passage of time and what it means to be alive.

In 1975, the ‘Tillsammans’ collective was one big family. Twenty-four years later, in 1999, it has become the smallest in the world. All that remains are Göran, the kindest man in the world, and Klasse, who weaves her rag rugs. When Klasse secretly organises a party for Göran’s birthday, everyone is reunited for one evening. What has happened in their lives since they last met? Have things gone well or badly for them? Who became a famous writer and who ended up in a mental hospital? Are the dreams of the seventies still alive? Who remembers Peter? Does Göran still eat porridge?
