Molly Hammar
This year’s headliner for the Aurora Music Forum music congress and festival is Swedish artist Molly Hammar. With one of Sweden’s strongest voices and her warm, bubbly personality, Molly Hammar has a given place on the Swedish music scene – and now it’s Finland’s turn to welcome her!
During the Spring, she carried out a nationwide, sold-out tour in Sweden, including three sold-out evenings at Södra Teatern in Stockholm. In September 2025, it will be Finland’s turn to welcome Molly with three gigs around the country. She will perform at Ritz in Vaasa on Friday, September 19!
Molly Hammar has been releasing music for 10 years and quickly caught attention both in Sweden and abroad. In 2022, she participated in Så Mycket Bättre and continued on with an acclaimed concert hall tour. In early 2024, the single “I Fönstret På Andra Sidan Gatan” was released, which was the starting point for her own songwriting in Swedish. Molly has collaborated with some of the biggest artists in the Nordic region: Albin Lee Meldau, Emma Steinbakken, Ricky Rich, Per Gessle, Julie Bergan and more.
Crimson Peak
Helsinki indie-rock band Crimson Peak are a colourful and vibrant combination of their shared influences – big melodic choruses nestle amongst driving rock guitars and widescreen, atmospheric indie-folk soundscapes, all driven by alternating vocals from the two vocalists Lina Sandvik and Elias Losinskij-Kovanko. The band released their first ep ’’Wonders & Worries’’ in 2021 through the British label Saint in the City Records. The bands long awaited debut-album “Music About Feelings” was released in august 2024, with some songs featured on multiple of Spotify’s NMF-playlists. The album has been praised in Finnish media, for example: Ylex-Nosteessa and in Rumba-magazine.
